COMPOSER
Julissa’s solo work consists of original compositions with a storytelling element. Although the sound exists within the same “world” of production, her goal is to remain non-specific in terms of genre. Her sound is very uniquely hers, and it explores many different elements of music theory including jazz, rock, classical and new-wave electronic.
Her goal in the very near future is to combine her love for filmmaking and her love for music to score films. She is also looking to collaborate with fellow filmmakers and animators to turn her compositions into a visual experience.

MUSICIAN
Throughout her life, Julissa has trained in the piano, electric bass and drums. From ages four to fourteen she was classically trained in the piano. From twelve to seventeen she played the electric bass for her middle and high school jazz bands. In college she took two years of drum lessons and in the summer of 2020 she taught herself to sing.
